CURRENCY
In January of this year, our first project of the spring semester was to create our own currency for a real or fantastical place. For my research, I looked at Singapore's currency and was inspired by multiple aspects. Creating this Wankandan currency, I used the brush tool and learned more about the elements of art and principles of design. Similar to Singapore's currency, there's a column with a "government seal", serial number, and currency value. To add texture, I used patterns from the Black Panther suit and brushed it on. I used stills from the movie as the main part of the bills along with Wankandan text. This project allowed me to learn new photoshop skills and showed me that if you put in the work it will show. I'm very proud of this project and it was the standout project that I created during my sophomore year in computer art class.
